Freeze your Excess Bananas for a Simple Dessert

Banana frozen

The great thing with Bananas is that they generally store well and come in their own cute little wrappers. Yes-those skins totally cover them and are quite durable.

Very often Bananas which are a little overripe are given away or sold very cheaply.

Whilst there are some great recipes to use up Bananas, sometimes time is what is the deciding factor, as to whether they get used, or not.

This is not a recipe. It may be classed as a food hack, but however you wish to think of it, the result is yummy.

This is simplicity and even those with no time left to play with, or no cooking skills can do this.

Get a carrier bag and separate your Bananas

Put the Bananas into the bag and pop them in the freezer.

That simple.

So next time you would like a quick simple dessert such as ice cream, take one of your Bananas out of the freezer.

Slit lengthways down the Banana to split the skin.

Leave at room temperature for about 15 minutes.

Dig in!
