Skint and super skint meals list

The four rules below are listed to help you save money:

  1. Store cupboard
You always need a basic store cupboard of food, always keep it stocked up, it’s your life line.
  2. Seasonal
Buy fruit and veg that is in season it’s always going to be cheaper than out of season.
  3. Shop around
No one shop has all your bargain food under one roof.
  4. Skint
Fresh vegetables for all year round:
Potatoes, carrots, cabbage and onions. Not fresh but keep a bag of frozen peas in the freezer
