Soaking dried beans overnight in bulk and cooking the next day will save time and money.
I soak various beans overnight, pinto, black turtle, cannelloni, haricot, chickpeas, soya beans etc
Cook next day times vary between 60 n 90 mins, read packs… I always do a hard boil for 10 mins then simmer for an hour plus… then I cool and bag up in portions and freeze, that way I can grab a bag for things like 5 bean chilli or bulking out dish
Pats top tip
Fuel-saving tip. After 10 mins, hard boil put heat off and let beans carry on cooking in their residual heat.
Reboil and repeat. You can do this every 15 mins until cooked. Cuts fuel use dramatically.
