Ingredients
- 5 Good sized Potatoes
- 500g Minced beef
- Passata sauce or tinned tomatoes
- 1 large onion
- 3 cloves of garlic
- cheese to sprinkle on top
- 1 stock cube 1 teaspoon each of Black pepper, Garlic powder, Dried Coriander, Paprika, Salt and Chilli flakes
Method
- Peel 5 potatoes and cut them into potato wedges
- deep fry them until golden brown and place them on a kitchen towel to drain off any excess oil.
- n a large bowl, add your beef mince with 1 chopped onion,3 cloves of chopped garlic, and one teaspoon each of 1 teaspoon of black pepper, garlic powder, dry coriander, paprika, salt chilli flakes, and mix it all together.
- Form the mince mixture into medium-sized meatballs.
- Deep fry them and place them on a kitchen towel to drain any excess oil.
- Using an oven proof dish, neatly arrange your wedges and meatballs in the dish.
- Grate some garlic all over the contents of the dish
- Add a box of passata sauce
- Add 200 ml of water
- Cover with foil and put it in the oven for 40 minutes. 200 degrees c Then remove foil.
- Sprinkle some cheddar cheese over the top of the dish and put it back in the oven for a further 5 minutes or so until melted and golden.
- Serve with crusty bread and salad. x
